Photographed exam questions may contain blurred digits, mathematical notation, tables or handwritten edits. The recognition step should show the extracted text and allow correction. A confident answer to the wrong question is worse than asking for clarification.
After verifying the question, the assistant should identify the topic, outline the method and show the working. It should distinguish the derived answer from assumptions and offer a related check question. For objective questions, answer choices can help verify the calculation but should not replace reasoning.
